Purpose of Scholarship
For graduating seniors of Pittsford-Mendon High School going on to college.

Number and Size of Awards
One award of $2,000; may be split between two recipients. Award paid in one lump sum in the Fall semester.
Allowed Use of Award
Awards may be used for tuition, fees, books, and other expenses associated with higher education.
For graduating seniors from Pittsford-Mendon High School who:
- Display good citizenship, a sense of responsibility, and a caring attitude about others, and
- Are active in school activities, including sports and school life.
Financial need is also a consideration.
The application process is coordinated by the Pittsford-Mendon High School Counseling Office, where application instructions are available if applicable.
The selection process is coordinated through the Pittsford-Mendon High School. A committee of Pittsford-Mendon staff and administrators reviews applications, selects the recipient(s), and informs the Community Foundation.
Award Announcement and Payment
The Community Foundation emails a certificate to the high school for presentation to the recipient and emails an award notification with instructions for claiming the award to the recipient. The scholarship can be applied to either the Fall semester (between July 1 and August 15) or Spring semester (between December 1 and February 15). Payment is mailed to the school for the recipient's account. Once required documentation is received.
To release the scholarship payment, send a class schedule or un/official transcript verifying enrollment to the Community Foundation. Scholarships not claimed by February 15 in the assigned year will be forfeited.
This scholarship is a one-time award and is not renewable.
This award was established in 1981 in memory of Natalie K. Meyer, a beloved attendance officer at Mendon High School. The senior class of 1979 dedicated the yearbook to Natalie "because of her patience, understanding, and willingness to go out of her way to help."
