Donor Information
The Lorraine Halsch Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of the Fairport resident who died from the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988. Lorraine was a devoted mother and wife. Before her death Lorraine had placed her career as an elementary special education teacher on hold to be a stay-at-home mom. Lorraine’s unique compassion, devotion, and caring touched the lives of her family, friends, pupils, and all who knew her.
