Bullis Loan Repayment Scholarship
Purpose of Scholarship
To provide a loan repayment award to Palmyra-Macedon High School alumni who have previously received the Bullis Family Scholarship, have received their undergraduate degree, and are currently repaying their loans.Application Period
December 1 to February 28
Number and Size of Awards
One award of up to $8,000; paid in one lump sum in the Fall.
Allowed Use of Award
Awards may only be used to repay undergraduate loans held by recognized lending institutions such as federally insured banks and credit unions.
Eligibility Criteria
For Palmyra-Macedon alumni who:- Have received an undergraduate degree from a two- or four-year college or university;
- Have received the Bullis Family Scholarship for the maximum number of awards during their undergraduate program; and
- Have significant loans with recognized lending institution(s) because of personal or family financial need.

The selection process is coordinated through the Community Foundation. A committee comprised of Community Foundation staff and community representatives reviews applications and selects the recipient(s).Award Announcement and Payment
The Community Foundation emails an award notification with instructions for claiming the award to the recipient in the Spring. Payment is mailed to the loan provider for the recipient's account once required documentation is received. To release the scholarship payment, upload the requested and required information to the Community Foundation’s online Scholarship Portal between July 1 and August 15. The Foundation will send a check to the lending institution(s) to be applied toward the award recipient’s outstanding loan amount. NOTE: Although the scholarship payout may be divided among multiple lending institutions, the scholarship can only be paid as a single payment lump sum to each institution. Scholarships not claimed by February 15 in the assigned year will be forfeited. Email scholarships@racf.org with any questions or concerns.Renewability
