Latino Giving Circle

Purpose

The Latino Giving Circle unites donors to support organizations, initiatives, and programs created by and for the Latino community to meet its needs and empower Latinos in the greater Rochester area. By facilitating and building a meaningful network of committed members, the Latino Giving Circle will inspire and assist projects geared towards improving the quality of life of those in “nuestra comunidad.”

Typical Grant Size

Grants will likely range from $1,000 to $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Strong preference will be given to organizations located in and serving the Latino community in Monroe County. Organizations in Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties with 501(c)(3) status actively working to reduce disparities affecting the Latino community will also be considered.

Consideration will also be given to initiatives that receive fiscal sponsorship from a 501 (c)(3) organization.

Projects and activities outlined in the grant request need to align with the mission and scope of the Latino Giving Circle, which is to support organizations, initiatives, and programs created by and for the Latino community to meet its needs and empower Latinos in the greater Rochester area.

Application Due Date(s)

The recent deadline to submit an application was Friday, August 2, 2024. Each organization may make one submission per grant cycle.
