Supporting Arts and Culture

Purpose

The Arts and Culture Action Area supports our goal to encourage vibrant and diverse arts and cultural offerings, expand community access and improve the capacity of local arts organizations.

Applications are invited from nonprofit organizations with programs that align with this goal, including:

• Expanding arts access for artists and audiences across our 8 counties
• Building capacity support (professional development/supplies) for organizations to expand audience access
• Addressing equitable representation by celebrating or promoting the region’s rich racial/cultural diversity
• General program/project support
• Festival organizations that offer arts and culture programming and increase outreach/engagement for underrepresented populations

Typical Grant Size

$5,000 – $10,000+

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or 509(a)(1) public organizations in our eight-county region, which comprises Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties.

Application Due Date(s)

The upcoming deadline to submit an application is 4p.m. November 6, 2026.

All decisions will be announced by the end of March 2027.
