Vitality Grants: Supporting Arts and Culture

Categories: Arts and Culture

Purpose

The Arts and Culture Action Area supports our goal to strengthen regional vitality by encouraging vibrant and diverse arts and cultural offerings and improving the capacity of local arts organizations.

Applications are invited from nonprofit organizations with programs that support this goal, including:

  • Expanded arts access for artists and audiences across our 8 counties
  • Capacity support (professional development/supplies) for organizations to expand audience access
  • Addressing equitable representation by celebrating or promoting the region’s rich racial/cultural diversity
  • General program/project support
  • Festival organizations that offer arts and culture programming and increase outreach/engagement for underrepresented populations

Applications for arts education (PreK-12th grade) programming will be accepted in the first quarter of 2026. However, if you are applying for programming to provide arts exposure (i.e. field trips), submit a proposal through this application.
