Catalysts for Change FundThis endowment supports the region’s current and changing needs, particularly those deemed critical by the Community Foundation. Accepting donations in memory of Peter Oddleifson.
COVID Education FundEstablished by the Community Foundation, this fund will ensure that students get access to essential technology for online learning in order to keep up with school assignments and stave off learning loss while schools remain closed.
COVID Recovery and Response FundEstablished by the Community Foundation to help the region and its nonprofit organizations recover from the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on inclusion and equity. This phase of funding follows the success of the Community Crisis Fund, launched by United Way of Greater Rochester and the Community Foundation, to rapidly deploy flexible resources to nonprofits disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. Nearly $7 million was distributed in 2020.
Racial Equity Growth FundEstablished by the Community Foundation to improve racial equity by investing in BIPOC nonprofit leaders and their career development, supporting innovative ideas to form BIPOC-led nonprofits, and providing funding for racial equity education and training, primarily for small businesses. AAIR Charitable Trust FundEstablished by Allergy, Asthma, Immunology of Rochester, the fund supports the charitable interests of the fund founder.
