Celebrating Latino Giving Circle’s Impact! ✨
Yesterday, the Latino Giving Circle—hosted by the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF)—awarded 8 grants to organizations making a difference in our community. 🎉 Latinas Unidas congratulates all the recipients, with a special shout-out to HCR, awarded $5,000 to expand their 40+ years of service. 🤍
Latinas Unidas is honored to partner with HCR, contributing an additional $2,000 from our 20+ year scholarship fund to help train more bilingual aides and reach more primarily Spanish-speaking clients across our growing Latino community.
It was a beautiful moment to see Rosa, an HCR nurse, and her sister stand as living testaments to the impact of this grant. Representing Latinas Unidas, longtime member Maritza Buitrago presented a bouquet of flowers to Louise Warner, HCR’s founder, in celebration of our shared commitment to health equity. 💐
