Exciting News: Enhanced Donor Portal and New Platform!
At Rochester Area Community Foundation, we’re always looking for ways to improve how we serve you, our donors, and our community partners. That’s why we are excited to announce a major upgrade coming this October—our brand-new donor portal!
This upgrade will make managing your philanthropy easier, faster, and more transparent. In addition to the new portal, we’re excited to announce that Rochester Area Community Foundation will move to an all-in-one platform for the first time. This comprehensive system will give our staff enhanced tools and access better support to you, our donors and community and nonprofit partners.
How will you be affected? You can continue using DonorCentral to review your fund activity, make grant recommendations, and download statements. The last fund statement that will be featured in DonorCentral is the first quarter fund statement for the period April 1, 2024-June 30, 2024.
Access to existing portal: DonorCentral will reflect fund activity through September 20, 2024. Any activity after this date will be reflected in the new portal. During September 23-27 you will be able to access previous fund activity and submit grant recommendations as you normally would.
Gifts to funds: The Foundation will continue to accept wires and stock transfers without interruption. Although gifts will be received, they will not be acknowledged for tax purposes or posted until the new portal is launched. Credit card donations can still be made through the website. We will notify you once the new donation links are up and running through our website.
Grants from your fund: If you have a Donor-Advised Fund at the Foundation please submit grant recommendations by Tuesday, September 17 at noon. These will be paid by September 20. After that date grants submitted will be paused until the upgrade is complete. We anticipate grants recommendations will resume mid-October.
If you need to submit a grant during the pause, please email Kayleigh at kmeagher@racf.org or call 585.341.4331, and we’ll be happy to assist. Our regular weekly processing will start again on Monday, September 30, including any grants received during the pause.
New portal access:
Before launch, an email will be sent to all fundholders with a detailed guide on how to navigate the portal. A fundholder representative will be available to help walk you through the new site. You can continue using DonorCentral until mid-October, after which all new activity will move to the new system.
