2021 Philanthropy Celebration
Our event, “Stepping up to the Plate to Help Our Community,” will take place at Frontier Field from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11.
If you want to RSVP, please call Donna Ritchie at 585.341.4364 to make your reservation. This will ensure that your information gets to the planning team in time.
Tickets are $60 each and include:
- Authentic ballpark fare along with beer, wine, soda and water
- Entertainment
- Paparazzi taking complimentary portraits
- MVPs, including our 2021 Philanthropy All-Stars (see list below) along with Spikes and Mittsy

Our Program
Help us celebrate and honor philanthropy “All-Stars” Hanif Abdul-Wahid; Mary Anne Palermo; and Tom Riley and Barbara Kelley (recipients of the Joe U. Posner Founders Award). We will also recognize Katie Nord Peterson for her work in Yates County and celebrate special anniversaries of the African American Giving Initiative, LGBT+ Giving Circle, and Yates Community Endowment.

Safety Protocols
We want to do what we can to ensure your safety and that of our staff during this event. For that reason, we are asking all of our guests to show proof of vaccination (either your vaccination card or Excelsior Pass on your phone) or a recent negative COVID test result. If you are not vaccinated, please plan to wear a mask and social distance.
What to Wear
Please come dressed for the weather in ballpark casual attire.
Directions and Parking
We will be using Frontier Field’s Gate 5 entrance at the corner of Morrie Silver Way and North Plymouth Avenue, where free valet parking will be available. Self-parking available in the MCC lot on Plymouth.
From the East:
Take 490 W to Exit 14 Broad St / Plymouth Ave
Right on Broad
Left on Plymouth Ave
You can self-park in the MCC lot on the right or pull up in front of the Gate 5 entrance on the left
From the West:
490 E to Exit 12 Broad St / Stadiums
Bear left at the second light onto Morrie Silver Way
Right onto Plymouth
Pull up in front of Gate 5 on the right for valet or turn left into the MCC lot
From Downtown (two options):
North on Plymouth, pass the stadium and MCC
Left on Brown St and then quick left on Verona St
Left on Morrie Silver Way
Right on Plymouth
Valet will be on your right; the MCC lot will be on your left
North on State St, pass MCC and Kodak
Left on Brown and left on Verona
Left on Morrie Silver Way
Right on Plymouth
Valet will be on your right; the MCC lot will be on your left
