We are excited to welcome Paige O'Connor as the Rural Community Impact Associate in our Community Programs Department. Paige will be instrumental in supporting our regional strategy to ensure equitable grantmaking across the eight counties we serve in Western New York. She will also work closely with our geographic affiliates and oversee the Community Programs' competitive grantmaking committees.

Paige recently graduated from Binghamton University's 4+1 Master of Public Administration program. Her background includes significant experience in civic engagement, program development, and data-driven change. She has previously contributed to the Rochester Education Foundation as a graduate intern and operations assistant.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, and cooking for friends and family. She also has an ambitious goal of traveling to all seven continents—just two more to go!
Please join us in welcoming Paige to the Community Foundation team!

As we celebrate Women's History Month, let's continue to view our work through an equity lens, amplifying the voices and experiences of women like Harriet Tubman who paved the way for progress. #HarrietTubman #WomensHistoryMonth #EquityForAll ... See MoreSee Less

This is so hypocritical for a Rochester area foundation to claim that they profess the values of Tubman.

Today, we celebrate the achievements and contributions of the extraordinary women at the Community Foundation. Their dedication, leadership, and compassion continue to inspire positive change within our community and beyond. Let's honor and uplift the voices of all women today and always. #IWD2025 #WomenLeaders #womenleaders #AccelerateAction

This Black History Month, we're honored to be highlighted in the CF Leads Case Study for using data to combat inequities in our region. From funding the Greyston Center for Open Hiring to driving equity-focused grantmaking, our commitment to racial equity is data-driven and community-focused. As our President & CEO Simeon Banister says, "Data can be like an oven mitt for hot issues—it helps us acknowledge and address racial equity challenges in our community." qr.racf.org/CFleads

Don’t talk about it, be about it. Get those boards of educations formed in city school districts. Every other school district has volunteer boards of education in Monroe county except for the 3 school districts in the city.
