Consolidated Financial Statements

Financial Transparency
As a public charity, Rochester Area Community Foundation makes a point of operating in an open manner that welcomes scrutiny. We take our obligation to donors, community groups, and the public very seriously. Accordingly, our federal tax returns, audited financial statements, and other related documents are posted on our website and are on file with the New York State Attorney General.

We are also pleased to offer our Consolidated Financial Statements which includes the independent auditor's report from Bonadio & Co., LLP.

Consolidated Form 990
This return represents the culmination of each Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Federal Form 990 for Rochester Area Community Foundation and its affiliates including:

  • Rochester Area Community Foundation Depository, Inc.: a separate entity created to offer our Charitable Checking AccountSM
  • Rochester Area Foundation: a separate entity created to hold our office building and gifts of real estate
  • Rochester Area Community Foundation Initiatives, Inc.
  • Joan and Harold Feinbloom Supporting Foundation

The purpose of the Consolidated Form 990 is to provide the public with a single return that summarizes all of the activity of the Community Foundation and its affiliates. This return has not been filed with the IRS and is presented for information purposes only.

Individual Form 990s Filed
Annually in August, we file an individual Form 990 with the IRS for Rochester Area Community Foundation, Rochester Area Community Foundation Depository, Inc., Rochester Area Foundation, Rochester Area Community Foundation Initiatives, Inc., and Joan and Harold Feinbloom Supporting Foundation.

Each organization's separately filed IRS Federal Form 990 and Tax Determination Letter are available on our website and updated annually.
