Funds at the Community Foundation provide support for a number of interests that are dear to the hearts of many donors; namely, Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement, Early Childhood, Education, Environment, Health, Historical Preservation, Successful Aging, Youth and Families, Women and Girls, and specific counties.
Arts & Culture The arts are integral to the overall well-being of our region; they not only create a better quality of life, but also a healthier economy. |
Civic Engagement Connecting people of diverse backgrounds and encouraging their involvement in civic life is necessary in a democracy. |
Early Childhood For more than 20 years, the Community Foundation has invested in high-quality early education opportunities for young children. With proven results, we're staying the course and continuing to make sure that our region's children get the best start possible. |
Education Helping students achieve is one of the best ways to guarantee their—and our —future. In addition to the following funds, the Community Foundation also administers many scholarship funds. |

Health These funds support specific and general health concerns in our area. |
Historical Preservation Preserving the past and learning its lessons provide a sound foundation for the future. |
NextGen Rochester A new giving circle has been created for young professionals by young professionals. |
Successful Aging These funds support the needs of older men and women; for example, by providing home support, day programs, recreation, or transportation; by encouraging volunteerism; and by helping families prepare. |
