Studies show that when family, neighbors, co-workers, and others in the community trust each other and exchange support and information, we can accomplish more. In 2000, the Community Foundation sponsored a social capital survey among residents throughout greater Rochester to measure levels of trust, tolerance, and involvement with other people and in their communities.
