Impact of Scholarships
The Community Foundation has more than 100 scholarships for high school students and adults. During our 2011-12 fiscal year, $629,694 was awarded from our scholarship funds to help students in the greater Rochester region reach their academic goals.

William E. McKnight Scholarship (African American students)
Elvira Caroselli Creative Spirit Scholarship (high school juniors and seniors); Clifford B. Bushnell Scholarship (African American female graduating from high school or completing first year of college); Louis P. and Betty A. Iacona Nursing Scholarship (nursing students); Abraham D. Chatman Scholarship (children of local union members); and many, many more.
