Legacy Society members look to the future
Our Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have named Rochester Area Community Foundation in their wills or planned gifts. By remembering the community in your estate plan, you can make a real difference to our region’s future.
Membership in the Community Foundation’s Legacy Society is open to any individual or family who has made provisions through a variety of estate planning tools such as bequests in a will or trust, charitable remainder or lead trusts, pooled income funds, charitable gift annuities, or gifts of life insurance to benefit this region through the Community Foundation.
Two members of our Legacy Society, Jerry Fisher and Joyce DeHaan, explain how they got connected to the Community Foundation and what plans they have made for after they are gone to support our community.
Members of the Legacy Society may choose to be listed in our publications or remain anonymous.
Donors who have included the Community Foundation in their estate plans should notify Dana K. Miller, Vice President, Advancement, at (585) 341-4390 or by submitting the Legacy Society letter of intent.
We appreciate you letting us know of your intentions. It’s the only way we can say “thank you.”
